What we collect, and why.

Who we are

Milestone Select (milestone.in/select) is operated by Milestone Builders, The Meridian, Haragadde, Jigani, Bangalore – 560105, Karnataka, India ("Milestone", "we"). It is the property finder and members' portal for Milestone Builders projects and for properties listed by partner desks and members.

What we collect

When you register we store your name, email address, mobile number and a hashed password. When you post a property we store the details, photos links and location you enter. When you enquire we store the message and the listing it concerns so the sales desk can reply.

We keep basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not buy data about you from third parties.

Cookies

We set one functional cookie, "token", which keeps you signed in for 24 hours. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Photos on listing pages may be loaded from third-party image hosts (for example images.unsplash.com or milestone.builders), which see your IP address when your browser fetches them.

How we use it

To run your account, show you listings, forward your enquiries to the Milestone sales desk (+91 74400 75000, sales@milestone.in), review member listings before they go live, and to keep the service secure. If you use the AI writing assistant when posting a property, the photo links and facts you entered are sent to the model provider (OpenRouter) to generate text; nothing about your account is sent.

Sharing

Enquiries on Milestone Builders homes go to Milestone's sales team and, where a channel partner introduced you, to that partner. Enquiries on partner or member listings go to the person who listed the property. We do not sell personal data. We use hosting on Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region).

Your rights

You can see and edit your profile at any time under My account. To correct or delete your data, or to close your account, email sales@milestone.in from your registered address; we act within 30 days. Indian law (the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) applies.

Retention and security

Account data is kept while your account is open and for 12 months after closure; enquiry records for 3 years for accounting and legal reasons. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt); traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
